Since 1982 we have been helping people buy and sell the finest Lake Country homes. As lifetime residents, growing up and raising our families on area lakes, nobody knows the market better.
We love the area and take pride in helping other families enjoy all that this wonderful community has to offer.
Selling or buying a home is serious business and we don’t take our responsibility lightly. However, we do try to have fun, make the process enjoyable, and have good relationships with our clients. We are very straightforward in our approach to our work, are honest (to the point of being blunt), hardworking and take great care to communicate regularly with our clients. One of us is always available to discuss any concerns, ideas or questions…at any stage of the process.
MEET THE TEAM
Do you have a specific question about our real estate services? We would be happy to discuss helping you buy or sell a home, or simply share our opinion on the current and upcoming market trends.
Bruce is the managing partner of Gallagher Lake Country Real Estate. In addition to overseeing the big picture as well as the minutiae of the day to day, he is a master negotiator and has shepherded many complex and challenging real estate deals to closing. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, golf, travel and most of all his family: wife Rebecca, an integrative medicine doctor who has her own practice in Delafield, their darling and precocious 10 year old daughter, Bea Rose and countless animal friends who round out their family. His even-keeled and unflappable demeanor, combined with a dry sense of humor suits him well for the fast-paced world of high-end residential Real Estate (as well as mid-life fatherhood!).
Kathy works with buyers and sellers, focusing more on the relationship side of the business, weighing in on property valuations and executing much of our marketing. Having grown up sailing and living on 2 area lakes, she and Bruce have a lifetime of knowledge about the lifestyle, the different “personalities” of each lake, neighborhood and town. This experience helps assure that our clients will get the guidance they need to make well-informed choices whether buying or selling. Kathy enjoys being outside as much as possible, and loves hiking, gardening, animals, winter sports, reading and travel. She and her husband (also named) Bruce have raised 4 children in an 1800’s vintage Victorian home on Okauchee Lake for the past 36 years, living through a couple of home improvement projects along the way. At the moment the family also includes 2 dogs, 6 chickens and 1 horse, though that list is subject to change (hopefully only by addition) at any time.
Jennifer is our Director of Operations (and a licensed and seasoned realtor in her own right). She wears many hats, is adept at pretty much every aspect of the business and her attention to detail assures that nothing is overlooked, and no stone goes unturned! She is thorough, persistent and tenacious when pursuing a solution to a problem or the answer to a question! In her free time, Jennifer loves working out and being outdoors running, biking, hiking, boating, and spending time with family and friends. She also volunteers her time working with the special needs community in the area. Jennifer, her husband Brett, and their 2 children, Emily and Jack, moved to the Lake Country area in 2004 from Wauwatosa. In her opinion, the Lake Country area is the ideal place to raise a family. At the moment, her family also includes an energetic Golden named Murphy, a Yorkie called Louie, two friendly guinea pigs and two noisy parakeets.
Chelsea (granddaughter to Beachy, daughter to Kathy and niece to Bruce) joined our team in summer 2021. She spent much of her career prior to joining GLC in sales and owned a digital marketing and web design firm for 5 years. She is thrilled to begin her career in real estate as it has always been a passion of hers - she used to help Beachy show houses when she was 4 years old! She is proud and honored to be joining our family business and looks forward to carrying Beachy’s legacy on for many years to come. With a knack for marketing and a creative eye, she will serve in a hybrid marketing and sales role for our team. Chelsea loves the outdoors, is a 5x American Birkebeiner finisher, avid traveler and dog mom to Winnie and Nilla. She and her husband, Andy recently moved into a 1920's farmhouse in Genesee and are expecting their first child in Spring 2023!
Debbie is the newest addition to our team and serves as our Team Manager. Debbie helps us continue to serve our clients at the highest level. Prior to joining our team, Debbie owned and operated three franchises — she is excited to bring her passion for working with people, organizational skills and creativity to the team. Debbie was born and raised in Indiana, but moved to Wisconsin in 2020. Debbie and her husband Gavin enjoy the warm months golfing or boating. She also keeps very busy managing their blended family of six children and two dogs!
Our founder, mom to two of us and grandmother to one of us, Beachy began her career in Real Estate in 1982: she approached her business as she approached her life, with a practical mind, a great sense of humor, deep integrity and an unflappable demeanor. She excelled at working with buyers and sellers to facilitate hundreds of successful transactions and dreams fulfilled. She was consistently a top performer and winner of numerous local and national awards. True to form, she couldn’t tell you what these accomplishments were, since she was always singularly focused on her work and serving the needs of her clients, rather than accolades and awards. She raised 5 children in the Lake Country, and thoroughly enjoyed her 16 grandchildren: Beachy placed the highest priority on friends and family. Her active lifestyle and enjoyment of sailing, skiing, spending time outside in nature and love of the Colorado Mountains were enthusiastically passed on to her kids and grandchildren. Beachy also spent time volunteering for local charitable causes and enjoyed yoga, prayer, gratitude, her Book Club and the Green Bay Packers. She left this earth in January 2021, but her legacy continues.
